Prizewinning writer
I won first place in the Fresh Ink novel contest 2020 and was shortlisted for the Alpine Fellowship 2020. I received a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award in 2013, a Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship in 2015 and a spot as Cove Park’s Emerging Scottish Writer in 2016. My unpublished novel got a spot on the Mslexia novel competition longest in 2015 and runner up in the Borough Press submission competition in 2017.
Freelance copywriter
I’m also a freelance copywriter, online content creator and used to be Books Editor at The List. I love working with words in all shapes and forms (tax returns and synposes excluded).
