Finally, my crazy couple of weeks have come to a close and it’s time for me to get my bearings again. Shame I’m wandering around in some kind of daze, not sure what’s going on or where i am half the time. Nevermind, I’m pretty sure I’ll get over it soon.
Mammoth amount of freelance work done? Check
New flat moved into? Check
Short story revised based on editorial comments? Check
Lots of hours in bed or lying on the new couch? Working on it
As a reward for the last little while, I’ve promised myself some extra, guilt-free reading time. So far I’ve read The Waves, Virginia Woolf, The Rice Mother, Rani Manicka and have just started Stuart: A Life Backwards, Alexander Masters. And this weekend I plan to get stuck into some comics. Happy days.
The shiny new flat is all lovely and spacious so hopefully I’ll feel nice and relaxed and inclined to get stuck into more work soon. I think the fact I won’t have any net connection for at least another couple of weeks will help!
Skiver.
